My Watercolor Painting Materials

I know and describe myself as someone who really wants to know many things which is partly the reason why this blog has been titled "Jack of Some Trades, Master of None". I claim that I know how to play the guitar and piano, I know how to speak Japanese, I love anime, I can sing, I can draw and I can paint. I'm not lying when I say those, but in some sense, I am novice in all of those.  I am a very good example of someone who is very enthusiastic in learning something at the beginning, but immediately loses interest after some time. I think I am again in the stage of being overly excited about learning something new and I can only hope that I finish what I started.

The new activity that I am excited to do is painting, particularly using watercolor. I've tried it before but I got stuck because I didn't have the resources to buy the right materials. When I had the money for it, I immediately went to the supply store and bought these:

1. Watercolor

I bought this for P321.00. It has twelve colors. I have no idea how long this will last since it's my first time buying it.

2. Paint brush

I just bought these randomly. The first one costs P30.00. I find it really expensive, but I think it has high quality. The second one is P26.00. It's also expensive and I think it also has high quality. The third set is the cheapest. For 3 pcs, it only costs P39.00.

3. Mixing Plate

You won't necessarily need this. However, for convenience, you might want to buy this just like I did. I bought this for P19.00.

4. Watercolor pad

I think it is important to really buy a watercolor pad because it is has a very thick paper that easily absorbs which is very ideal for watercolor. I bought this for P200.00. I would have liked one with a smaller size but this was the only one available. It has an A3 size with 18 sheets. If you are still practicing just like me, you can maximize one sheet by using all the available space.

To sum it up, painting is really an expensive hobby. This is why I really hope to improve my painting skills so that my money will not be put to waste. By the way, this is my first painting (which only proves that I am really a beginner):

Haha!

Sharing my Unionbank EasyCash Experience

I’m very thankful that I stumbled upon UnionBank EasyCash. My family was needing money and we were ready to take out some loan. The problem was that there were so many requirements before our loan gets approved and one of the things that the bank needed us to do was open a checking account. Then, I remembered that my Citi Simplicity+ credit card was replaced by a UnionBank Visa Platinum Card. It was sent to me by mail just recently and I was given an Php 84,000.00 credit limit. I was thinking that I could maybe get a credit card cash advance. I registered my UnionBank credit card on the app and I saw this EasyCash service. I clicked the link and I was lead to this page, where you can input the amount you need and below it shows how much you are going to pay depending on the terms that you choose.       I decided to request Php 50,000.00 with a 24-month term because the monthly amortization of Php 2,328.33 is within my budget. I could have chosen 48 mont...
