Toy Organizer

I always wanted to buy storage for the toys of my nephew and nieces. Because they are still babies who want to play around all the time, it would be convenient to have storage for their toys when they are done playing. I found this storage in shopee but it's quite pricey. This costs Php 2,799 exclusive of shipping cost so this is still in my wishlist for now. So today, I found an alternative for the one above. They are plastic crates which i think can store more toys. However, shipping would still cost me around php900 for three pieces so I'm still searching if there are stores in the nearby city that sell these. I hope I will be able to find one.

COA Exit Conference

So today, we just had our exit conference with the auditors. Present from the COA camp were the supervising auditor, audit team leader and two audit members. On our end was our mayor, mpdc, budget officer, treasurer, accountant (me!), menro/gso head/bac chairman, one sb member and one member from the bac secretariat. Earlier during the day and the day before and many weeks prior, I was so anxious because of the upcoming exit conference. The exit conference today is actually the sixth exit conference that i have attended but I still get anxious every single time. My mind tells me that the COA will be scrutinizing and criticizing us. But actually, as the supervising auditor said, they are not "kontrabidas" but enablers. They are there to recommend measures in order to correct and improve the existing system and processes. I was actually inspired to practice writing today and start improving on my reading skills because today, I was tasked to do the closing remarks and i just co...

By the way, I'm an Accountant

By the way, I am an accountant. Do you know how cool that is? Haha..Just joking. I'm just thankful to God that somehow I came across accountancy, survived college, passed the board, and have a job. What I want to say is that I highly encourage anyone of you who might be reading this to consider taking up accountancy when you reach college. The following are practically the reasons, in my opinion, why you should:  1. After you pass the board exam, you can easily find work. In my case, in just a few weeks, I already got my job. Just like me, my classmates also immediately got hired.  2. Even if you don't pass the board, companies will still accept and hire you. Just the fact that you're an accountancy graduate is a guarantee that you'll find work.  3. Your parents won't spend as much money as they would spend if you take other courses like nursing. In my school, accountancy is one of the courses with the lowest tuition and miscellaneous fees.  4. Acco...

My Very Own Video Set Up to Film a Drawing

I am quite ashamed to show my very own video set up to record my drawing because it's kinda lame, but I'm also quite proud about it so I'm still gonna post it though. Lately, I have been fond of watching Youtube videos about people recording themselves drawing, and I also wanted to try it. I already tried watching videos about how to film drawing but it's not that easy in my case because I don't have the necessary resources for it. So I decided to make something that will work for me. And luckily, I was able to invent something. I don't have a video recorder so I am only using my phone. Here's the finished product: As you can see, I only used a pringle container, a cellphone box, and a stick. And I think you could already figure out how it's done. Here's the view from above: Enjoy!

My Watercolor Painting Materials

I know and describe myself as someone who really wants to know many things which is partly the reason why this blog has been titled "Jack of Some Trades, Master of None". I claim that I know how to play the guitar and piano, I know how to speak Japanese, I love anime, I can sing, I can draw and I can paint. I'm not lying when I say those, but in some sense, I am novice in all of those.  I am a very good example of someone who is very enthusiastic in learning something at the beginning, but immediately loses interest after some time. I think I am again in the stage of being overly excited about learning something new and I can only hope that I finish what I started.  The new activity that I am excited to do is painting, particularly using watercolor. I've tried it before but I got stuck because I didn't have the resources to buy the right materials. When I had the money for it, I immediately went to the supply store and bought these: 1. Watercolor I bo...

How to Put Multiple Posts on Different Pages in Blogger

I am new in blogger and I found myself wondering how to put multiple posts on different pages in blogger because I noticed that blogger only allows one post per page. However, you can still do something about it. Try to follow what I did. 1. Go to the main window and click "Layout". 2. In the layout window, click "Add a Gadget". 3. In the add a gadget pop-up, choose "pages" and save. Before adding a page, your blog looks like this: After adding a page, your blog will look like this: 4. From here, you can create additional pages. Just click on the edit button as shown below: A pop-up window will show, then click "add external link" 5. Give your page a label name. In my example, I wrote "My Inventions". Just enter the label's URL below. When you write a new post, you just need to enter the same label name in which you want that post to be.  That's it. I hope I was able to help.
